filename completion (Korn Shell)

Hello,
When I was using the Csh, I used filename completion a whole lot.
Now, I use whenever possible the Ksh because I like it's command line
editing features. But I miss the filename completion behaviour of
the Csh. When I ask it to complete a filename, it completes by
adding ALL files which start with the specified string.
What I would like, is for it to complete the name
up to the ambiguous part and beep. A command to list all possible
completion (like ^d in Csh) would also be nice.
Is there a way to configure the Ksh (in A/UX) to have this behaviour?
I copied my initialisation files without modifications to an
HP9000s800 and HP9000s300 and their Ksh exibited the desired behaviour.
I fail to see the reason for such a behaviour. If I want to specify
all files that start with "xx", all I have to do is used wildcards.
Could someone explain ?
Louis
PS: l do not have access to Ksh sources to apply a fix.
