need help with hard disk and compiler

Hi! everyone.

I am new in this group and please forgive me if
my questions have been posted before.

	I have two questions:
1. When I use the compiler 'cc -g', I get a error
	"overflow of fakename table"
Does anyone know what this is and how to clear the fakename
table?

2. We used to run AUX 1.1 with a external hard disk "80SC" and
we just got a new disk from Microtech "N320". We installed the
AUX 2.0 on the new disk. Old 1.1 version boots from the MacIIx
internal disk and we partitioned the new disk so that Mac OS can
be booted up from the new disk alone. We have two problems:

 1) We cannot launch the 2.0 on the new disk from the old Mac stuff
on the internal hard disk. But we have no problem to do the opposite
which is to start up the Mac OS using the new hard disk and then
launch either 1.1 or 2.0 AUX.

 2) If the system is launched from one of the disks, we have trouble
to mount the other. The old "80SC" has the type 5.2 and the new
"n320" has the type 4.2.

Could someone give us some advices please?

		Thanks in advance.
