Obnoxious load-dependant bug in UUCP

I am using UUCP rather heavily on a i486 box running SCO UNIX 3.2.0

This happens daily to me

If you look at the output of `uucico -x9`, You see ten alarm calls, and then comes the failure. Any suggestions ?
