Yes.  It started working, but not quite correctly, with AIX release 2.2.
It works quite well with AIX release 2.2.1.

Basically, all you have to do is specify "share" in the devices command
for "ae" (Automatic Enable), and "remote (modem)" for "dvam" (Device
Attachment Method).  Then use /dev/ttyx for the incoming line, and
/dev/lttyx for the outgoing line.
