Hardware (chips & date codes) 386 problems

Watch out for certain new production 386 boards using Chips & Technologies
support chip set. It seems that a fix in the 386 turned out to be
incompatable with the Chips P82C206. This problem might only show up
on 25 MHz 386s. Sorry, I do not have the exact date codes involved, but
(at least on Interactive 2.0.2 OS) the definitive test is to type "factor"
with some number. The bad combinations cause the system to go off in the
weeds, and requires a hardware reset to get it going again. More detail
including date codes if I can get them. (Incidentally, these boards work
ok with MS Dos as far as can be determined.)
