Hi! I am a relatively happy Bell Tech user. But, you say, even
relatively happy people never write open letters -- there must be a
catch. Well, OK. You see, you say

>For that matter, if you wanted to write your own driver or get specs
>on any of our stuff, we'd give it to you.

I called for specs and was refused (actually refered to a guy in Tech
Support whose livelihood depended on my not having the specs -- at
least he acted that way).

Tell me it was all a misunderstanding! Better yet, tell me where I
can get the specs for the XTC tape controller, the IWS board, the ICE
board and the ACE board.

Everything is street legal, with serial numbers and receipts,
(available on request) including for software. I got the hardware, I
like it, I have UNIX driver wirting experience and I want to be able
to ensure I can use the hardware.

You go on to add

>actually giving away [ Bell driver ] sources free

Be still my heart!

>(under nondisclosure, of course)

Of course, I'll sign, I'll sign!!
