Great! Glad to hear it!  However, I think you (and others) have missed the
point of my vitriol -- if you don't need X or if you don't want to use X,
then don't; on the other hand, if you need X or if you want to use X, then
do so.  Inane articulations about X-bloat and how it could all be solved
by some "all I need is xterms" solution identify the speaker as a parochial
yahoo bent on some personal vendetta (perhaps frustration due to a lack of
understanding of the subject matter :)
