Device drivers

Is this correct group to discuss device drivers for disks?
If so I am looking for information/supply source for disk drivers which support
scsi 2 devices which accept/support command queing in the device so that the
device driver can issue additional disk requests to a device while it services
previous requests. A multithreaded driver for one single device. if this is the
wrong group where might I try. Comp.periphs.scsi has helped but not solved the
problem. I am willing to develop this if 1) it has not been done and 2) some
type of device driver development kit exists. Any suggestions?
