Looking for ACmaint

A BETA test version of ACmaint is available for those folks who can ftp.
This is the version that we are running in-house, but since we haven't tried to compile it with PURDUE_ECN #defined, it is a use at your own risk version.

There are plans for future versions of ACmaint, but there is no definite timeframe defined at this point (this will change over the summer).

Welcome to the ACmaint mailing list.

ACmaint (Account Creation and MAINTenance) is an implementation of an
Account administration system for distributed Unix machines. A paper
desribing ACmaint may be retrieved by anonymous ftp from
harbor.ecn.purdue.edu (128.46.129.76) in ~ftp/pub/ACmaint.ps.Z

The purpose of this list is to provide information about the status,
use, installation, porting and improvements to the ACmaint family.

A BETA test version has been released to those with FTP access.  You can 
find the BETA test version of ACmaint on harbor.ecn.purdue.edu
(128.46.129.76) in ~ftp/pub/acmaint_BETA.tar.Z.  One set of patches has
been released, you can find these in ~ftp/pub/ acmaint_BETA_PATCH1.Z.

Administrative types of things (additions, changes, and deletions)
should be sent to ACinfo-request at ecn.purdue.edu.  Submissions to the
mailing list should be sent to ACinfo at ecn.purdue.edu.
