Greetings...

A while back I mentioned that I had patches for Perl 2.0 that
allowed it to work under Microport's System V/AT. Well, I've just recently
received patch #15 for patch in comp.sources.bugs, and I see that Larry
Wall has incorporated my changes to Perl (they deal mostly with a few
complicated expressions that 'cc' doesn't like, putting in varargs where
required, making sure that Perl's malloc works on the '286, etc).

Therefore, you should now be able to install Perl (patchlevel 15)
right out of the box! If you have any problems with it, please let me
know...

P.S. When running "Configure", you will be asked if you want to use
Perl's own "malloc" routine (with the default being "no"). You
should answer "yes" as it has been fixed to work correctly on
     System V/AT.
