Hello Networld,

first, I'm sorry about the long delay of this note. I've gotten a lot of
demands for HACK, which I offered in december 88. there have been some
technical problems reg. HACK/System V/AT/sendmail and as far as I can see,
some mails didn't reach their addressees outside. up to now, I don't know
why.

So, to avoid any further questions: HACK is a "dungeons and doom" game in
"succession" of ROGUE (popular to almost every bsd-user). HACK has been
introduced by J. Finlayson and extended by A. Brouwer.
M. Greim at Saarbruecken has ported the bsd-version to SINIX (Siemens-
type of UNIX), corrected several bugs and extended some features.
We also ported HACK to Microport System V/AT and V/386 with XENIX (System V
version) following soon.

HACK is Public Domain and everyone interested in, can get a copy of it.
We request a copy fee, depending on Your special wishes:

     - floppy incl. copy fee $ 6,-
     - package $ 2,-
     - freight Europe $ 1,50
                             U.S. $ 3,-

So total cost for a copy of HACK is: $ 9,50 (Europe)/ $ 11,- (U.S.).
The only (easy) way to handle the dragon is, to prepay. That means, You
send the money cash/cheque or what else and we send You the disc. O.K.???
(In Europe, collect mail [Nachnahme] is also possible, but that will cost
another $2 ...)

We ship Sony or Fuji discs, so there should be no trouble with readability
of data. The discs include installation guides and help files. If You have
any trouble, You can call us or send mail. (Even if You want to get some
additional hints for solving the game)

We (mostly M. Greim) ported also a lot of other stuff (PD) to SINIX/Microport:

perl, shar, printf, file, slice, sets, lit, patch, compress, m4, ccp, cdecl,
bison, flex, cdiff, grep, man, nethack, hack, wanderer, aard, mpu, adl, world,
tess, strings, regexp, bugs, alloca a.s.o.

Please send me mail, if You like to receive a complete list.
We are building a "X-PDomain"-catalogue and hope, this is of interest for
a lot of UNIX-users.

Any comments/flames/questions are welcomed.

P.S.: i'm looking for a guy in U.S., willing to buy standard software in U.S.
and to send these to germany (naturally prepaid by me). Anyone inter-
      ested??
P.P.S.: Those, who send me email in december: please mail again. Thanks.
