CLOCK PROBLEMS

Hello,

I'm working with microport sys V UNIX and am having a problem with
the clock(s).

I have two duplicate systems loaded with sys V at two separate locations
as well as one here in Austin. The clocks on all three systems seem to lose
time in no consistent manner(as if there should be?), and will on occasion gain
a few minutes (though there is no surprise if this can be almost an hour)
which causes problems with my "at" commands. The two remote systems are
completely identical in that they have two 40Mb hard drives with a 1Mb RAM on a
386. I have been correcting the problem with "setup" by just changing the time.

I'd appreciate it if someone out there can give this novice UNIX user
some assistance.

Please let me know if you need more info, as I'm not a real expert on
the hardware portions of the 386 and I'm just beginning to get some kind of
grasp on UNIX. (Although that's to be determined.)

	Thanks again,

	JAMES
