Yes, you are right.  We must have had some mixed up version here,
because we had some of the S5R3.* changes (other 8-bit clean up
and other things), but for some reason not that one until I fixed
it.

I hope the fix is also going into BSD 4.4 (is it indeed already in 4.3reno?)
