Tools for CVS1.2 wanted

Hello anybody,

I will use the cvs system to control software-source versions. Is
there anybody outside in the world, who knows a tool to prepare an
initial database for the cvs.system. I have a lot of sourcefiles and
directories. It's a lot of work to edit the "modules"-File directly.
So I hope that there is a tool which can help me to do this work.
