Advice on unix for 286 wanted

Greetings,
   I am about to buy Coherent's $99 unix for a 286 w/ 1mb ram and
a 20mb HD.  Are there other forms of unix i should know about?
What about Minix?  By the way, someone at Coherent said they
plan to have a `large' version out early `91.
