csh prompts on exit

Is it a bug or a feature that when csh exits, it outputs its prompt
one last time?  It doesn't do this when you log out.  If it is a
feature, wouldn't it be nicer if it put a newline after the prompt,
rather than messing up the next prompt of the calling shell?
