Symmetrics 375

Has anybody out there in netland know anything about what the Symmetrics
375 machine is like? We're considering it as an alternative to the
Sun/Microvax-II -- we're really poor :-( -- we can get 4 375's for 1 Sun!
What I'd really like to know would be things like

        * How fast is it? (compared to uVax/Sun)
        * How good is it's UNIX port -- what's BSD on a 32016 like in general?
        * How good is it's standard disc
        * Does it take years and years to convert software for it,
or are the machine differences fairly small? (I've not used
a 32016 before so I'm wondering how different it really is)
        * Is there a better value machine?
$5000 seems pretty good to me for a basic machine.

[Basically, ANY comments at all as I know absolutely NOTHING about this box]

All comments will be appreciated, as we're a little
out on a limb here in good old Ireland, and 32016 experts are a little
thin on the ground!

Please reply by e-mail directly -- our direct news links have been cut (our
feed is suffering from a bad case of bureaucracy) if anybody else wants to
know what I find out, I will summarise to the net.
