Sendmail Address Rewriting

How can you use different rules for rewriting the addresses based on
the destination of the message. For example, I currently make all
out-going mail appear to come from a single machine by change the
host.domain part to "vuse.vanderbilt.edu". I would like the internal
mail to have NO host.domain part and possibly inter-school,
INTRA-university mail to have a host.domain of "vuse".

This would have the visual benefit of making internal mail more
"noticecably internal".
