(mchk) It is killing my system! HELP!

mchk() is the machine check handler routine.  A machine check is
a hardware detected error.  Some machine checks can be brought about
by software bugs; others always indicate real hardware problems.

Since you are running Ultrix, you should call DEC and have them
diagnose the problem.
