Need help in unpacking rnews packets

Hello, I currently run UUPC on my Amiga and I have been very
impressed with the package so far. However newsitis has struck
and I now pick up 16 newsgroups regularly.

Now UUPC takes the D.arcadiaB* files out of usr/spool/uucp
and puts them unchanged into my RNews directory and right now
I simply take my editor and browse thru and seperate all of the
articles into single files labeled comp.sys.amiga comp.mail.uucp
and so on. Well in receiving an average of 300-450K of news a day
this has become a 60-90 minute a day chore.

I have several Unix-like utilities such as sed and grep and also
Steve and Matt's shell 2.07M so I would really like to automate this
process somewhat, but I am not getting anywhere.

So could someone point me to a good sed script that would help
seperate these files or point me to some source code that news uses
to unbatch all of this? Any help at all would be appreciated as I
will not be getting a real AT to run SCO Xenix for at least another
6 months.

Please use the Followup properly, as I don't receive comp.unix.?s
at this time. Thanks.
