tn3270 with sun4's

We are working with a tn3270 emulator via sun 4 workstations. I
believe that the current version of tn3270 is about 1 1/2 years
old and is a beta test version. Most of the emulation works
with the following quirks.

1) Sporadic "phantom" deletes using the left and right arrow keys.
When you move left or right using the arrow keys the information
appears to be wiped out with a blank space character. A screen
refresh shows that the characters did not actually get wiped out.

2) There is sensitivity to characters in column one row one on some
screens. The symtom is that the next higher ASCII character is
displayed AND interpeted than was typed. For example if you typed
a "c", you got a "d". Not all characters were affected. A "b" is
still a "b".

3) No status line on some displays.

4) Screen orientation goes out of whack but is correctable with a
redisplay screen function.

Does anyone have a working version of tn3270 that they are using
with sun 4's that does not display these symptoms???

I would appreciate a direct reply by E-mail if possible to
...!uunet!mhinfo!rwc. If there is enough interest, I will be glad
to compile the answers and post a consolidated reply.

Thanks in advance
