Two methods for stopping, first get the process number, then type
	stop <proc-number>
from csh, or from any shell
	kill -STOP <proc-number>

e.g.
	% stop 22328
or
	% kill -STOP 22328

starting, however is a little tricky. In theory
	kill -CONT <proc-number>
e.g.
	% kill -CONT 22328
should do the trick, however when I tried it my process got stuck
waiting for output. Looks like you might need to make sure that
'stty tostop' is switched off.
