Yes, Yes, Yes, NFS, and our own X based SCADA system.  

For a real thrill, try 5 X servers (1 on an internal EGA, and 4 on Sun River
Fiber Optic Stations (basicaly a EGA card connected to the '386 bus via a 
fiber link, absolutley no intelligence)), with at least 3 servers running 
simultaneously.  Not a speed demon but it works.
