Seeking Sources for C Coding Standards

I am looking for C coding standards/conventions that promote
portability, readability and maintainability. I have a copy of Thomas
Plum's "C Programming Guidelines". However, since it was published in
1984, it does not address some of the newer indigenous features of C as
well as features specific to recent compilers. Pointers to more
current sources (i.e. text books, articles, or network archives) for C
coding standards will be greatly appreciated.

Please respond to me directly by electronic mail as I do not
subscribe to this mailing list.

Thanx (in advance),

P.S. If this questions is often asked or has been asked recently, I
apologize for the redundancy.

P.P.S I know that this question is more applicable to INFO-C and have
already posted it there. However, no responses were received from the
INFO-C group.
