tcsh under Xenix. Does it work?

I'm trying to get tcsh to work on an AST386C running Xenix. I ftp-ed
version 5.12 from tut.cis.ohio-state.edu. I also ftp-ed Larry Wall's
Patch program, which seemed to work successfully with the patches. But
when I tried to 'make' tcsh, I get literally hundreds of errors before
the make fails. It first tries to compile sh.c, but fails on this, not
recoginizing the 'st_ino' type in <sys/stat.h>, for example. Has anyone
successfully compiled tcsh for Xenix (yuk!)? Please email me. I'll
summarize to the net if there's interest(tm).

P.S. I'm using 4.3BSD csh sources.
