ps vs. ksh

Can anyone tell me why ps puts processes started under K shell in
parens? It also doesn't list the arguments.

  PID TT STAT TIME COMMAND
24045 h3 S 0:18 -ksh (ksh)
26347 h3 R 0:00 (ps) <-- should be ps -g

This isn't terribly important, but I've been wondering. Thanks!
