Is there such a thing as an 'unld' utility - one that can take an
executable program, and unlink a certain routine, and thereby allow
you to re-link it with a replacement?

We have some old programs (without source, of course) that uses the
old resolver code. It looks things up in a host table, which is now
to be replaced with dynamic resoultion. Is there a simple way to
replace the old gethostbyname call with the one from the new resolver
library? Any help would be appreciated!
