There are several books your users might find understandable. I suspect
you're going to have to review at least a few before you find one you can
settle on for your users, so the best way to go is probably to go through the
book list, rank the ones you think are possibilities from the most likely to
the least likely, and buy them one at a time and read them (or get them from a
library) until you settle on one that'll do.

I'd recommend "Learning the UNIX Operating System" by O'Reilly, since their
introductory books tend to be very good. You might also try "UNIX in a
Nutshell," also by O'Reilly. The book list claims that "The Unix
Environment," by A.N. Walker, is "an excellent user's introduction," so that
might be worth looking at too. There's also "Unix for People," by Birns,
Brown and Muster, and "Using the UNIX system" by Richard L. Gauthier, which
the book list says is an "introductory level book, extremely basic and easy
reading."
