Help! I've got a bunch of images from several sources, ranging
from 8-bit color Sun rasterfiles and .GIF files to monochrome TIFF and
.PCX files. I would like to be able to display these either on a Sun
or a PC, preferably keeping only rasters on the sun and GIFs on the PC.
I have an understanding of raster and GIF structures and can map between
these two, but I'm at a loss with the TIFF and PCX images.

Has anybody found a way to map these image formats?
				raster
			      / | \
			    GIF --+-- TIFF
			       \ | /
				 PCX

Can anybody refer me to PCX or TIFF descriptions?

Please respond to me and I'll post results -
			Thanks in advance, dwhite
