nn/nnspew/nnadmin Suddenly Dumping Core on uPort

All of a sudden today, after having run flawlessly for several 
months, nn, nnspew, and nnadmin =EYW, run from cron, started dumping
core.  Nothing is new, except for the addition of a number of
new newsgroups today (all from the comp.unix reorganization).

I'm running Microport System V/AT release 2.4 on an AT clone with
2 megs RAM.
