Looking for graph/graphics package for System V/386

We are looking for a graphics package that runs under Unix SysV. We
need to be able to draw things like bar charts and pie charts and send
them to a variety of outputs (the more the merrier but primarily Epson
(Fx & LQ), HP Laserjet, Postscript, PC {X,V,E,C,M}GA under unix, blit,
sunview and X). ASCII/curses output for normal terminals and printers
would be a plus.

I've looked at plot(5) but it doesn't have color or the ability to fill
regions (although since you can select the scale I suppose you could
just fill stuff by hand). Even so, plot(5) backends for any of the
above would be useful.

A package that understands graphs and charts would be ideal but even
just basic graphical operations would be fine. Both commercial and
freely available packages are ok (as long as their terms permit them to
be added to a proprietary software package).

Please mail me any info you can provide and I will post a summary.

Thanks for your help.
