Notice Please! Patch Tapes

My respondent at the Colorado Support center has mentioned that several
people have called the support center asking for a 3.1 patch tape based
on my erroneous posting on this subject.

I'd like to reinforce the fact that there is currently *NO* 3.1 patch tape.

The Ultrix support people are working with Ultrix Engineering to resolve
the LAT problems with 3.1 that I mentioned, it's not clear when they
will have positive results.  I'll be sure to announce such.

The current status, as *I* see it, is that if you are depending on LAT
for anything more than dumb terminal access, you should be consider not
installing the 3.1 upgrade release until this is resoved and instead
obtain/install such 3.0 patches as address problems you are blessed with.
