Can somebody help me with a couple of problems with my ULTRIX system
please?
I have a MicroVAX II with ULTRIX v2.3 and an LG01 printer attached via the terminal 0 serial port, when I try to print to it, it seems to print in DEC
International character set which apparently means that an error has occurred. I
have tried the printer using VMS and it works fine. I have altered the printcap
file manually and by using the lprsetup script with the same effect, any help would be greatly appreciated.
My other problem is that when I put a message in somebody's .logout
file to be displayed on logout, the last entry in the history buffer is echo'd
after the message ( he wishes to save his history buffer ), try as I might I
can't seem to get rid of this. Again any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks
