IF you are referring to the 5 1/4 inch m2266sa from fujitsu there
are some precautions that need to be taken.
1. This drive needs a scsi 2 controller to work
2. The drive also requires a 15 mhz controller
This drive is a hot off the press and although i have seen one and the
specs look great neither I nor anyone i know has actually installed one.
IF you are referring to the 8 inch 2382?? fujitsu drive you will be
pleasantly surprised, i have installed a number of them using the emulex
qd35's and qd33 controllers without a hint of a problem.
A formatting hint is follow the recommended configuration suggestions
provided by manufacturer and all should go well.
