Trying to get tcpdump to work

Did you add the following to you kernel configuration file (/sys/conf/mips/SYSNAME)?

	options	PACKETFILTER
	pseudo-device	packetfilter

If not, do so, run doconfig -c SYSNAME, and reboot with the resulting vmunix as
your kernel.
