LHDH on a 750

Has anyone had any experience using an ACC LHDH-11 on a 750?  We installed ours
this afternoon, with the result that VMS could not see the DZ11.  Right now we
are just trying to determine if it is a hardware problem, or whether the
autoconfigure logic of VMS is getting fouled up.  Obviously, posing the
question in this forum is a plea for answers to the possibility of a hardware
problem.  Please direct responses to me - I will summarize for the net.
