VSH on 4.2BSD...

I have converted VSH to run with the NDIR 4.2BSD directory scheme.
Though originating at Berkeley, I have added many features to this version
of VSH, including handling arbitrarily large directories, a select mode to
choose a command to apply to a selected file, multicolumned file listings,
separate execute scrolling window, a help menu for novices and other. It
is, as they say, upward compatible with the older VSH.
It is available, if anyone is interested. It should run on any
UNIX system from PWB/V6, V7, 3.0, 5.0 and 4.xBSD.

					Cheers,

P.S.
For those who don't know what VSH is - it is a visual shell.
The display presented is a listing of files in the current directory.
One or two keystrokes allow you to choose a file and perform an operation
on it. If you find yourself typing,
	% cd /a/b/c
	% ls
VSH is a great alternative. There are also nice hooks into MAKE and GREP
for program development.
