TWG TCP/IP

We would like to hear from anyone using the TCP/IP package for VMS from
The Wollongong Group (TWG). Background:

We are planning to put on an ethernet two vax 780's running 4.2bsd, as
well as a vax running VMS and an IBM 3033 running VM/CMS and MVS/TSO.
We will be using Interlan IN1010A Ethernet cards with an option to
upgrade to the NP100 when software support is available.  We would
expect to use WISCNET on the IBM. We have Eunice on the VMS vax.

We are interested in the TCP/IP package from TWG, because it is said to
be a conversion of the TCP/IP software from Berkeley Unix, and
therefore provides maximum compatibility; it is said to provide the r*
facilities of Berkeley Unix to the Eunice users and the VMS users; and
it is supposed to interface nicely with the VMS mailer.

Some uses of the TCP/IP connection that we envision:  (1) providing
electronic mail between the machines using the native mailers; (2)
making movement of files between the systems more convenient; (3)
eliminating the necessity to logoff and back on to do a quick switch to
the other system for some purpose; (4) setting up remote servers for
access to a database located on one machine.

We would greatly appreciate hearing from others of the TWG TCP/IP
package.  We would like to hear what it does well and what is doesn't
do well.  If you have had problems, how good was TWG's support?  In
general, we would like to hear about anything that would help us in
evaluating this software and making a decision.
