Sun's Network Disk (ND) on the VAX

Ok: One More Time....

(BTW, for those who care, the "other changes" we haven't made are
that on Suns, physstrat() maps in the pages being accessed, while
on Vaxen it's done with UBA or MBA maps---except of course for the
network disk, which doesn't have UBA/MBA map registers.... It
would be necessary to allocate a map [in locore.s] and map in pages
being accessed, and mtpr(TBIA) and all that stuff.)

------------
*You* can have source code for the Sun Network Disk implementation!

We constructed this source code by decompiling 68000 object code into
canonical-style 4.2bsd Unix kernel source. (It wasn't easy.) We are
using this code in all our Sun kernels, and on two of our vaxen. Raw
and page access to remote network disks doesn't yet work on our vaxen
because we have neglected to make other kernel changes necessary to
support this.

Please note that this has nothing to do with the Sun Network File
System (tm).

We will send you our decompiled source code and some diff listings for
vax kernel sources that we've been forced to change to support the
network disk code. To obtain this source code just send:

	a) One copy of your SUN source code license.

	b) A letter requesting the "Network Disk Source Code."

	c) A check for $50 made out to "University of Maryland
	Foundation."
