IBM3032, DDN, and Unix

Sometime in the near to distant future we're goin to be trying to  interface
an IBM 3032 to the DDN as a full host.  I'm looking for words of wisedom/
experience from those who may have already performed this feat.  In addition,
has anyone tried the interface using UN*X running under VM? (I seem to have
noticed that there are some VM experts out there...)
