X.PC Protocol on Unix

[I am posting this for a friend who doesn't have net access.]

	I am interested in responses from anyone who has implemented,
	considered implementing the X.PC protocol under any version of
	Unix.  I have obtained the source made available from TYMNET,
	but it is for a IBM PC implementation.  Though some of this code
	is usable much of it is tied to the PC hardware design.  I can
