Our Chemistry Department has received a quote from Digital for a
Microvax II and a number of Vaxstation IIs, and I am trying to
see what we can do to reduce the cost. Three items are traditional
candidates for going 3rd party: memory, printer, and tape drive.

The tape drive they have configured is a TSV05-ZA.
The printer is a LPV11-F (600 lpm).
They also have included a VT241-AA color graphics terminal
and an LPV16-AA color graphics pen plotter.

I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience
with 3rd party products compatible with these. Please reply to
me directly.
