Oh pooh, MARK. Large portions of the TOPS-20 manuals have no index or the one is equally useless. I dug through each manual in the 20+ binders and could not find one entry that says referenced anything vaguely recognizable as a description on what you had to do to get TOPS-20 to comply with the RS-232 spec by actually asserting DTR. -Ron
