uses for access time

About a week ago I posed the question in this group (and a couple
other OS groups) of what to do with file access time information and
whether it is worth keeping. I can happily say that I haven't gotten
so much response to a note since I asked in misc.consumers.house
about refinishing hardwood floors.

Because the respondents were uninanimously of the opinion that access
time is invaluable, I have been able to convince my colleagues of same
and am in fact now president and supreme corporate overlord. I thank
you all.
