Can't say I can fix your problem, but I can suggest what we did. Get a better SCSI controller. The Ciprico controllers are interesting in that the board is capable of doing I/O queing. There ends up being no active queue in the driver, you just feed the I/O's to it and wait for them to come back. Pretty nice. Ron
