time dependent login

Why *not* modify the password file?  To turn an account "xyz" off:

/bin/echo '/^xyz:/s/:/:NOLOG/\nw' | /bin/ed /etc/passwd

To turn it back on:

echo '/^xyz:/s/:NOLOG/:/\nw' | /bin/ed /etc/passwd
