Booting a SS1+ from non-standard device

Yes, I know, another bozo who does not want to have a Sun-supported
configuration. But anyway, I have an Antares board (SBus-SCSI adapter)
on a SPARCstation 1+ that connects a second SCSI bus to my pizza box.

My problem is that I don't have a 1/4" tape drive connected to the
SCSI bus 0, and I DO NOT want to boot from floppies. My question is:
how can I boot from a 1/4" drive connected to the SCSI bus 1 and load
the SunOS into the internal 104MB Quantum ProDrive which is connected
to SCSI bus 0 ?

For information, the kernel configuration file that allows access to
the devices on the two SCSI busses contains the following entries :

scsibus0 at esp
disk sd0 at scsibus0 target 3 lun 0 # first hard SCSI disk
disk sd1 at scsibus0 target 1 lun 0 # second hard SCSI disk

scsibus1 at esp
disk sd7 at scsibus1 target 3 lun 0 # first hard scsi disk at second bus
tape st2 at scsibus1 target 4 lun 0 # 1/4" Tape drive second scsi bus

Even if the answer is: "NO, you can NOT boot from the SCSI bus 1", I
would appreciate someone letting me know. There is no way to get
anything that makes sense out of Sun support (and don't tell me to type
"b st(1,0,0)" at the boot prompt, that does not work...)

Million thanks to whoever has the key to the mystery.

Regards,
