Max File limitation in Xenix

     We have both wordperfect and Unify/Accell on a Xenix 2.3.2 machine.
Xenix allows  a max of 400 files that can be open at any time.  We ran into
file can not be opened problem when a user tried to login while one unify and
one wordperfect user were already logged in.  This also happened when there
was only one wordperfect user.  Raising the files limit to 600 did not solve
this problem.  Is this caused by Unify or Wordperfect ?
