1.44 MB floppies / Maynard tape

One of my clients added a 3.5" 1.44 MB floppy drive to their system as the
second drive. I need to add the /dev entry for this device, but I can't
figure out the minor device number. The manual only talks about 5.25" drives.
Anybody out there who can enlighten me or point me to the correct manual page?

Also, they had this Maynard MaynStream 60 tape streamer floating around. I
tried to mkdev the tape device, but to no avail. I tried every logical combi-
nation I could think of, including setting all values to 0, which is supposed
to make the device driver auto-configure. Is it possible to use this streamer
under Xenix?

BTW, they are running Xenix System V/2.3.2. And thanks.
