Xenix hangs after starting TCP/IP

I've got a PC running Xenix System V 386 2.3.3, with SCO's TCP/IP version
1.0. Everything was running fine until about a week ago. Since then
every time I bring up TCP/IP (tcp start) while connected to the network
the system will hang within a few minutes. Disconnected from the network
it will run without hanging up.

Has anyone run into this, or know how I might be able to fix it?

Thanks,
